Mascara's are said to be the magic wands for our eyes because they enhance our short barely naked lashes. I for myself have really really tiny short lashes so without any mascara's on my lashes I have droopy sad eyes. I honestly have about four (4) to six (6) different mascara's like different brands, because I just wanna give some love to my lashes since they do need TLC!
Last wednesday I just went out to purchase some things that I need for my everyday basis like cotton pads, facial wipes and stuff that I need, and I saw that there was the e.l.f. cosmetics corner at LCC mall Legazpi city branch, and I was pretty excited to see that they already have e.l.f here yey!!
They had lots of stuff on the rack more much like foundations, lip stains, blushes, eyeliners and mascara's. My eye caught their mineral Infused Mascara so I only bought the mascara. Now for my review . . . ^_^

Here's how my eyelashes looks like without any mascara on, i barely have lashes and my eyes looks very kind of flat, sad and droopy. No volume either fuller lashes at all :(
To apply the mascara  start from the base of your lashes and wiggle the wand going up to the tips of your eyelashes.
I ONLY APPLIED MY UPPER LASHES BTW: EXCUSE THE CREEPY EYES STARING DOWN
Here's the outcome of my before & after, with and without the mascara:
The Mineral mascara just works its magic through my tiny lash hairs. ^_^

I did a comparison with a few coats applying the mascara, starting from 1 - 2 coats the mascara works its formula already as you can see that it started to add little volume. From 3 - 4 coats my lashes has that length and volume but i wanted to go in more and add more, so from 5 - 8 coats i stopped already since the mascara gave me the perfect results of fuller volumized naturally healthier lashes.

I could add more mascara if i want to to give me a lot of volume and make them a lot fuller because the formula doesn't really irritate my eye balls at all, plus the wand is easy to handle since it's made out of silicone, its not too stiff for my eyes instead its comb are soft for my eyes.
FOR MY FINAL VERDICT:

PROS:

The mascara comes in a sleek black matte finish plastic made container
♥ It's light weight so your makeup bag won't be bulky or heavy for this mascara.
♥ The wand comes in a silicone made form and is lighter to handle to apply the mascara
The mascara has no STINKY SMELL at all
♥ The formula of the mascara didn't irritate my eye balls at all
♥ The consistency is not too water/y and thick
♥ With a few coats applied it shows the results immediately
♥ It doesn't clump my lashes
♥ It doesn't extremely dry up lashes, so i could re-apply the mascara on my lashes
The outcome of the mascara comes out with healthy naturally fuller looking lashes for me
It lasted through out my entire day.

CONS:

Sadly it's not waterproof so be carefully not to get teary eyes or get wet at rainy days
It's not smudge proof, when I tried smudging it, it smudged the mascara a little bit

Overall I love the mascara for my every day go-to daily basis, but i'd rather wear this on a beautiful sunny day to avoid any smudges on my face. The mascara just gave those natural healthier more volume lashes that i ever want for my eyelashes.

Have you ever tried the mascara? So how well did it do for your short lashes? comment down below :)

How I Fix My Brows

Hey everyone! Hello my amazing readers out there, today instead of a review like I usually would blog about, I wanna share some remedies I do for myself to fix my eyebrows. Eyebrows? Yes indeed, because some of us weren't blessed with beautifully full perfect brows and yeah I'm on that list too.
So to fix my brows I wanna share some things I do for myself which I consider that works best for me.
Tadaaaa! here's my ridiculous bushy 3 weeks un groomed brows. Yeah I know they're ugly and I hate them too =[ I purposely didn't try anything yet to fix them just to show all of you how far they've been growing and un even they look.
So to fix my brows here are my step by step to fix them:
1. Using a brow brush with the comb, I first brush my brow hairs down to check how long they went further.
2. Next with my brow scissors I trim starting at the tail of brows working my way under my arch area and going in further.
3. Then I just brushed again the hairs of my brows going up and trimming the excess long hairs above it.
4. Now that they're trimmed, using my eye brow razor i can now shave they shape that I want for my eyebrows which I like to have that high arch brow.
5. Then I also shave at the tail of my brows to make it a slightly thin but not super thin.
6.  I also shave un wanted hairs that's all over my brow bon areas
See no more long un wanted hairs right?
Now I'm the type of person who's not still contented with the whole shave thing on brow bone areas, so I just use my tweezers to pick up those tiny tiny smallest hairs that are still lying around my brow bone areas, because i want that area to be hair free. And Yes, I know the feeling of tweezing at first it hurst, but for me I'm already use to it. ^_^
Now can you tell the difference from my after and before results? :)
Oh by the way I tweezed and fixed my brows last night since my mother said its not a good thing washing my face after tweezing because my brows might swell. So the next morning I just retouch my eyebrows to reshape and fill them in with my all time favorite eyebrow kit which is the Beauty uk high brow all in one brow definition kit and I purchased this from Keringkeristore.com
The brow kit has 3 varieties of shades that suits any complexion because there's from a dark, medium to light eyebrow powder, plus a eyebrow wax for more smooth application. It also comes with two ended brush, a mini tweezer but I don't use the tweezer since I already got the bigger one instead.
To start I use the angled brush to pick up the brow wax and just following my natural eye brow shape, this will serve as a smooth application for the brow powder to hold on to.
Next thing I do is taking my brow brush which is the two ended one from the brand called Marionaud that comes with a spooley by the way. And I just use the medium colored brow powder starting to outline the desired shape that I want for my eye brows.
After that everything's in place I just take my spooley and brush my brows to even them out more and soften the brow powder that I just applied.
This is optional either I use a concealer to clean out my brows more even but since every single day I'm on the go and in a hurry to leave the house, so to clean the edges of my brows I just use a cotton bud and wipe off some areas that are needed to clean and I find that this technique is much easier for me to do.
Almost done, so to set everything in place and that my brows will stay long through out my entire day, I use my everbilena brown mascara and I purposely bent the wand slightly so that I could apply this on my brow hairs.

Why use brown mascara instead of a brow gel, tint brow gel??

I haven't found any brow gel to set my eyebrows, so I did make a experiment to use the  brown mascara brushing them through my brow hairs and it just worked perfectly fine for my eyebrows and it did last through out my entire day ^_^
A little cotton bud cleaning one more time, and I'm done!
Remember our eyebrows doesn't have to be both the same, because i find that identical eyebrows looks a bit weird no offense okay?Brows are like sisters, not twins :)
Now if you may find that my technique for my eyebrows are weird and wrong, hey I'm not a eye brow PRO expert and I don't claim to be, it's your own free will to do what's really best for your eyebrows, it's just that I find these techniques that I shared with you worked better for myself.

So what do you do for your eyebrow remedies? Comment down below :)

Queen Helene MINT JULEP MASQUE | REVIEW

My mother used to tell me before reaching to woman hood that she & her friends back in their 80's used to pamper themselves whenever they have a sleepover, and that they use mud packs on their faces. I was interested to know what does a mud pack do and she said that it makes their skin much clearer and fair. So I'm now 25 and currently experiencing hormonal problems which reflects to my skin. I have either oily to combo skin, slight large pores, white & black heads and worse PIMPLES!
I was so worried that my face had a lot of pimple scars before and my pores were slightly large and white & black heads were on my nose area. So i did a lot of searching what's a good skin regiment that I can find to help my skin a lot better. I found a blog review on this Queen Helene The Original MINT JULEP MASQUE, and read a lot of positive feedbacks at the masque and just had to get one for myself. Sadly I couldn't find any Mint Julep Masque at any online shops but luckily I found a website (based in Bacolod City, Negross Occidental Philippines) called CareFreeShopper.com.ph and their website has lots of authentic items that has reasonable prices. Luckily for me they have The Queen Helene Masque yey!!! :D
So off to my review...

Now that you've read the info of the product off to HOW DOES IT WORK for me, I started first cleansing my face and make sure that I have a clean face to work on. ^_^
After cleansing my face I just pat gently with my towel on my face and then applied the Masque starting with thin layers like so:
To apply the masque basically you just need to work either with your fingers or you can use a brush for more accurate application. For instance myself I just worked with my hands and applied a thin layer because I wanna start applying thin first not packing every product on my face and I don't wanna waste the product as well. starting on my cheek areas, avoiding my eye areas then I concentrating more on my forehead, nose and chin area.
FIRST OBSERVATION:
The color of the masque is a mint color and you can tell my face looks like a Martian haha just kidding! :p
The masque had mint/y kind of like toothpaste scent but it doesn't bother me at all
At first the masque got that sting/y effect around my cheek areas but it was just seconds till it  was gone. So it was a good thing not to apply on my areas and the product specifically says not to apply on the eye areas ^_^
I noticed that working with thin layers is already enough for me because the product says let the masque dry for about 15 mins and in just 3 mins it started to dry.
When the masque turns out to be completely dry I noticed that I was kind of turning a bit hard that I tried to squint.
Now that 15 mins is already done, I just removed the masque with a warm washed cloth and gently removing the masque.

Now for my final Verdict..

PROS:
I love how the masque worked on my face it clarifies my face but not extremely dry.
I'd recommend this for oily skin
Gives me that fresh feeling
○ I noticed a big difference next morning my face looked totally fresher than before, i looked a gunk - free.
Made my pores small than before
It made my pimples less reddish and it wasn't swollen anymore
It got rid of my minimal white heads on my nose
Tightens my skin
Didn't experience any break outs at all
Price is reasonable for Php 350.00
QUICK TIP:
I only use the Masque twice a month only since I don't wanna rip the natural oils of my face and I don't wanna over use it because it might make my skin dry.

CONS:
It's available at online shops
(if you have any links to where they are available at the market please comment down below for more reference ^_^)

Will you repurchase the Masque?
Absolutely Yes!!, because I love the results turned out for myself and this is gonna be one of my most love skin care routine list.

SHAWILL Hide the Blemish "You're Bluffing" CONCEALER | REVIEW + SWATCH

Concealers are one of the basic needs to cover up our imperfections on our face like scars, pimple marks, and dark eye bags. But for concealers there are many types to choose from, they come either in cream forms in a jar, liquid concealers, and Stick concealers.
So WATSONS Legazpi city Branch was opened last year around october at the Pacific Mall, so I had to give it a look what's new and interesting to buy ^_^.
They had a few cosmetics area like maybelline, careline, nichido, and Shawill. I came across to shawill cosmetics area they have various amount of eyemakeups, lipsticks, foundations, single brushes, eyelashes and more.I was a lot interested with their concealers which is their Hide the Blemish You're  Bluffing! concealer sticks. They have at least 4 shades which is 01 the lightest concealer and 04 the darkest concealer.  I purchased only two shades which I wanna use for contouring and a little highlight. Contouring?Highlight? wondering why? Yes because I've read a lot of blogs that concealers can be used as for contouring and highlight. It's not a bad habbit giving new things a try right? now off to my review. .
MORE INFO OF THE PRODUCT:
Product Name: Perfect Natural Concealer
Description: Anti - cernes , 3D traceless Defects

Concealer dimishes the appearance of fine line and wrinkles. Its light diffusing pigments soften the appearance of under eye circles and wrinkles. The hydrating complex, containing vit. A, C, E and beta carotene, soothes the under eye area while conditioning and moisturing the skin. The smooth and bendable formula is long-lasting.

Shades : 01 & 03
Price: Php 125.00
Weight: 9.2 g
Availability: any WATSONS Philippines Branch.
I bought mine at Pacific Mall Legazpi City.

Starting first for the packaging of the concealer stick, they come in a black sleek box which indicates their brand name and the concealers are called the "HIDE THE BLEMISH You're Bluffing!" Perfect & Natural Concealer
At the back indicates the concealer's use & ingredients.
Below the box has a hole where you can check what shade you have, I got mine in 01 and 03:
ACTUAL CONCEALERS looks like:
The concealers come in a stick form and they're in a black matte coating containers wrapped securely with tight secured plastics:
On the bottom, to open the concealer remove the cap first and start twisting right to push the concealer stick up. The twister's base has their own unique design which I like because the products brand just kind'a of matte engraved their name on it.
The concealer comes in a cream stick form which for me I like about it to use for my contouring so its a easy application. For concealing it's a bit hard to blend it well with my fingers because the consistency is a bit thick.
SWATCHES:

LEFT - RIGHT
01 & 03

01 is the lightest shade from the rest but in photo's it shows that it has a slight yellow undertone to it, but in reality it's slightly pale, while for 03 is the nearest shade to the darkest one which has a pink undertone to it and in reality it has that slight tinted brown that's great for contouring your face features.

FINAL VERDICT:

PROS:
- Unique packaging
- light weight for a makeup bag
- It's easy to use with the twister mechanism thing (hehe!)
- Thick cream/y form for a concealer
- Great for heavy covering imperfections & contouring
- Price is reasonable for a drugstore product and for beginners to makeup

CONS:
- Has a strange smell
- Slightly hard to blend, have to use a brush to blend it well
- Only available in the Philippines.
Will you repurchase the Product?
No, Because I have my own personal concealers that I wear most of the times I want and I'll be just using this just for contouring and highlight.

If you ever tried this concealer how well did it work for you?
Share with me your experience and comment down below! :)

For us "GIRLS" Hair is like one of our accessories in life, because it frames our faces and adds us that personal style we have. But to have a healthy beautiful strong hair, we need to take care of our hair right? I'll be fully honest with all of you my amazing readers, a little history of my hair. From the longest time I have had my hair back before when I was a kid I had natural wavy hair. So I have had my insecurities during my elementary days because I've had those "BUNOT" or coconut Filipino hair kids cut. My mother also added me those straight cut bangs argghhh! come to think of it now, I see myself looking weird with that hair cut.  When my high school days during freshmen year I had my hair like a boy's cut , and I know i look ridiculous because I was in high school and all of the girls on my freshmen years were like so pretty having those long, shiny straight hair. I envied them because I felt so insecure the type of hair I had. When I got to sophomore year in Filipino there was the HAIR RELAX meaning that the treatment was to straighten the hair and thats it. I was so excited to make my hair straight and all and just found a salon on my province place and just had to get my hair done for the FIRST TIME. Take note for my ever FIRST TIME so my hair was virgin I have had no chemicals at all.I was excited to get my hair done so the hair dresser just went and did his thing (GAY type). After the treatment was done my hair turned out really straight  and got a little longer about 2 inches and I liked it at first and the hair dresser just told me to "Bhe mag conditioner ka lang ah?" so I said why? "Kasi mag dra dry yan hindi pwede mag shampoo" so i was like ,question marks floating on my head thinking why I should not try to to put shampoo. So i said okay. Then after a week I began to notice that I my hair got pretty oily and had dry ends. I was so upset how my hair turned out because it wasn't I imagined to turn out so dry and worse it got lots of split ends and turned to damage hair =(. On my junior years I have had that hair like about up to my bra line and just had to chop 4 inches off to get rid of the split ends. So my hair was still damaged and so dry I just had to do some remedies to my self like conditioning the ends and shampooing on my scalps only and just lead to dandruff what a bad hair life right?! argggghh! I was a nightmare! Til Senior year came and I was out of luck getting my hair back to its normal self and I met my bestfirend "Katrina" and she told me like
"Damage na damage ang hair mo kaipuhan ta nang e treatment yan"  translation:
"Damage na damage ang hair mo kailangan na natin e tretment yan".
And She told me that her mom "Tita Amy" had a hair salon business so i didn't hesitate to give it another shot for my hair. They treated my hair from hair relax to hair cellophane, this is to give more shine and smooth to hair and it has tiny tint of burgundy color which I love the results turned out sooo amazing. After that I had my hair treated on their salon which is "Katrina Beauty Salon" formerly known as "A & K". My hair up till now got the best reseluts I have ever wanted it went from Hair cellophane to Hair rebond. If your from Albay check out their facebook page at Katrina Beauty Salon and give their salon a visit, oh and please tell them I recommended you there you won't regret it PROMISE ^_^.

Wew! Sorry for the long story off to my review. Sometimes I do experience those bad hair days and I feel you girl, i do. So to give my hair more shine, smoth and nourish hair,  I treat it my self. This is my ever first to try these products for my hair and I had this from my bdj box like last year and failed to make a review it sorry! =(
So here's the L'OREAL MYTHIC OIL ,  I got two of them that comes in a hair oil form and the other one is a hair masque.
Starting off with the hair masque, it's the Loreal Mythic Oil NOURISHING MASQUE that comes in a small yellow gold container that contains 75 ml and it indicates as a travel size one. So they have the standard size which are available at the market.
The hair mask indicates it's for all hair types. It doesn't actually indicates what it does so i did a little research about the hair masque:
HAIR TYPE:
For all hair types.
BENEFIT:
Works to balance hair’s natural oil levels by targeting very dry ends to deliver intense nourishment. Hair is left feeling soft, supple and brilliantly shiny.
TECHNOLOGY:
Paraben-Free Formula
Ingredients include:
Argan Oil: used for centuries by Moroccan women, Argan Oil is rich in Vitamin E and Omega 3 oils. It easily absorbs into the hair to deeply nourish and provide control.

Cotton Seed Oil: naturally light in weight this oil adds nourishment and extreme softness to the hair with a weightless finish.
APPLICATION:
For intense nourishment, apply and massage evenly to shampooed hair. Spread well. Leave on for 2 - 3 minutes. Rinse thoroughly.
For normal hair: use once a week.
For very dry/coarse hair: use in place of conditioner.
That's how the hair masque work, and it comes with their Hair oil which looks like this:

Both products comes in travel sizes so they're handy to to carry on your bag. The nourishing oil comes in a pump with 45 ml | 1.5 fl.oz.
Product doesn't have a description, here's a complete info (based on their official website)

HAIR TYPE:
For all hair types.
INGREDIENTS:
Avocado Oil: packed with Vitamins A, B1, B2, D and Omega 3 oils that deliver lightweight nourishment and shine.
Grape Seed Oil: contains highly concentrated amounts of linoleic acid, one of the most powerful antioxidants in the world to protect against environmental aggressors.
BENEFIT:
- Provides legendary shine and frizz protection
- Weightless nourishment for all hair types
APPLICATION:
An easiery blow-dry:
Apply 2 to 3 pumps to damp mid-lengths and ends for enhanced smoothness and suppleness.

A touch of sparkle:
Warm a pump in your hands, apply to dry mid-lengths and ends to control frizz and add shine to your hair.

All day frizz-control:
Apply to dry ends as needed during the day for frizz-control and smoothness.

Add shine to any style:
Add 1-2 drops of Mythic Oil to your favorite styling product. The result will be beautiful softness and shine.

APPLICATION:
1. With  my hair already damp after shampooing and conditioning my hair
2. I'll be using first the Hair Masque
3. And I just use about 3/4 of the masque
4. Starting from the tips of hair working up to my crown
5. giving it a massage to help circulate my scalp
6.Then securing my hair with a shower cap
7. Next I already switched the heat settings of my heat cap to a low level
8. and just let the heat set on my hair about 10 - 15 mins. this will help the masque work it's magic through my hair.
9. After 15 mins remove the cap and let your hair down
10. and again massage your scalp to let the heat cool down from your scalp.
11. massaging your scalp from below going up to your scalp
12. Then rinse off your hair.
13. Gently squeeze out the excess water of your hair
14. working from the tips of the hair.
15. For me I like to dry my hair with my fan so I won't be using any hair dryer for this one since I'm in a hurry sometimes. ^_^
After letting my hair dry by my fan about 80 % almost dry, while it's still damp I'm gonna be using about three pumps of the nourishing oil and concentrating on my hair strands applying the oil, combing my fingertips on my hair. On the bottom i just massage the ends of my hair this helps get rid of dry ends and prevents from split ends.
 HERE'S ARE THE RESULTS:

This is how my hair looks like after the hair masque and nourishing oil, my hair is almost dry  here and I just love how it just gave more softness to my hair and more shine. It lessened the dryness of the ends of hair and It's not so heavy on my crown.

WILL YOU PURCHASE THE L'OREAL MYTHIC OIL AGAIN?
Yes, because now I'm convinced why it's called the Mythic because it helped restored the each strand of my hair and gave more balance to it.

WOULD YOU RECOMMEND THIS?
Yes, I recommend this for those who have dry coarse hair and wants to achieve with beautiful balanced nourished hair.
