REVIEW & DEMO | Wand(er) SOLO ROD curler

Hey guys! Lately I have been a little bored with my straight hair, so I wanted to give my hair that voluminous soft curls. Today's blog post is a review & demo on my new Wand(er) SOLO ROD curler, I purchased this last two months ago from a online shop on instagram which is @Candyblushshop, they sell pretty quality of hair curlers which is like this Wand(er) SOLO ROD and they also have the 5 set of removable wand curlers which I believe ranges around Php 4,000.00 plus. But instead I purchased the single one because it's a bit cheaper than the whole 5 set ones. This cost around Php 2,000.00 only.

It's made out of ceramic, easy to use for on the go curled hair, also comes with a free gloves, to help prevent from getting your fingers burned.

The wand(er) ROD's comes in different variety of sizes so you can make lots of styles with your hair if you purchased the 5 pc. set. From spiral, tight to small curls and to big voluminous shiny curls too!

The wand(er) curler is packed with a free glove to prevent your fingers from getting burned because the barrel tends to get super hot. Plus it's wrapped with a bubble wrap to keep the barrel safe from getting damaged while it was shipped to me :)

Inclusions also is a warranty & safety notes about the barrel itself.

The wand itself looks High quality looking because of the ceramic barrel, handle is made out of thick matte high quality plastic not some cheap looking plastic at all.  The wires are also made out thick rubber wires too.

It's "QUALITY CONTROL" passed because it's high quality made. 

Plus the plug comes in a standard type A socket outlet plug.

For my final verdict, generally It was much easier and convenient for me to use the solo rod curler because I just curled my hair with the wand pointing downwards to achieve the curls I want for myself. Plus I didn't get my fingers burned thanks to the freebie gloves that's included with the wand curler. It's a great deal for only Php 2,000.00 only because of its high quality .

REVIEW | L'OREAL Miss Manga mascara

I know a lot us ladies has that one same common problem when it comes to eye lashes, and yes I'm with you girl, I have barely there naked eye lashes which are really short. 

I'm a Filipino and some were born with pretty doll luscious full lashes and I wasn't one of them huhu :(. But anyways there's always a remedy to achieve that pretty manga fuller looking lashes and that's the help of mascara!

I was lately at the mall luckily for me I was the L'OREAL counter and they had a sale which I didn't hesitate to check out what L'OREAL has install. Oh by the way if you should know that Manga is a "Japanese" word for "Kawaii" or in beauty meaning a style of "cuteness". Okay that was pretty much long about the whole product info moving on, the mascara comes in a black standard mascara container with a girly/ish barbie/ish metallic pink cap. Which I love how L'OREAL designed this type of mascara because from the outer face it did caught my eye already.  On the other side of the mascara container has a indication which says : 

"FLASE LASHES 360° BIG OPEN EYES EFFECT"

The mascara is professionally sealed and made with its ingredients on the plastic thing that wraps the mascara but I'd prefer it printed on the mascara container itself.

For the mascara wand, you can see how the fiber of combs are tiny detailed enough to go through the eyelash hairs, also it has that curved shape to fit right on your eyes for application process. 

Now for comparison...

Oh hence by the way my natural eyelashes are straight and short, so here I just got a eyelash perm/curl treatment so it's 1 week curled already still my lashes were short, and at first I was like excited about the outcome but I felt a little weird feeling that my lashes were curled and that I could see it from my sight but I'm getting the hand of it. 

On the left side of my face I applied 1 - 2 coats of the mascara and already saw the effects what I was expecting was that cute manga doll eyed lashes. While on the right side of my face is my barely there short lashes: 

Next I wanted to give more lift and volume to my lashes and added 3 - 4 coats and again the mascara does it's magic, it's like it's implanting mini hairs on my short lashes because it's more fuller looking.

Forgot to mention is that I love how the wand fits just right while I was applying the mascara, it does't poke my eyeballs and the fiber hairs of the wand wasn't sharp it was more of a softer side so it was much easier for me applying the mascara on my lashes.

Okay I have a confession to make, I went a little crazy so I applied a lot of the mascara on my lashes and tadaaaaaaaaaa!!!  The results were just NO WORDS TO SAY (hahaha!) because I got fuller cute doll eyed lashes that I've always wanted to have.

Even from the front straight view my lashes are looking pretty enough for me :)

I didn't apply any mascara on my bottom lashes because it was a hot day outside and I didn't want to ruin my eyes because I do rub my eyes often of itching. 

Just by looking up my lashes are more fuller looking yey!!! ^_^ 

Even from looking at the side view, the mascara was so amazing working for my lashes:

Now it comes to my final verdict, here goes...

PROS:
- For the mascara's container in general I like how it was made because I love pink combined with black, because it's more on the girly side and best of all PRO looking too!
- For the wand I like the fact that it's bristles/hairs were on the softer side because it's gentle on my sensitive eyes and combs through my short lash hairs evenly.
- Has no strange smell
- For the consistency it's not watery, neither thick
- It's waterproof! perfect for the rainy days, and won't spoil your pretty dolly eyes

- Even though the mascara doesn't say it's voluminizing, it did gave my boring lashes volume, though from my lash curl perm.

- It's true, it is made for asians like myself for that short barely lashes. :)

-I also noticed that it did open up my eyes as what the indication on L'oreal's site said. 

- Gave me more curl on my lashes 

-Smudge proof

CONS:

- Difficult to remove, so it's best to set your makeup remover sit for a little while to remove the product totally

- Dries up super fast , so work quickly with the mascara

Overall , I love how the mascara reached my satisfaction. I love it period! haha!

Would you recommend this to a friend? Yes! Totally yes!! So for my co pinay out there "Try niyo ito sa mga may problema sa maikli na pilik mata, the best itong mascara na ito PROMISE! :) hehehe!"

L.A Girl Glazed Lip Paint | Review & Swatch

Hi everyone, here's my first month of May review which is already I know half way of the month already, but I just can't wait to share with you guys some lip paints that I recently purchased from smoochesphilippines.com which is a online store that has very affordable quality branded makeup that are imported from the U.S.A so if you wanna check their store just click the link on their name right just <above mentioned> and please tell them that I sent you there. ^_^

So currently as usual I was just searching on instagram some L.A girl lip paints that's in a reasonable affordable price and lucky me "PANCIT" haha! I came across with hash tags of #smoochesph #smoochesphilippines and just checked out their instagram account and it was like my makeup next door and just couldn't resist and buzzed through with their products on their website.

I currently purchased (4) four L.A Girl Glazed Lip paints, but they had the complete 18 shades and I just decided to get myself four shades for everyday purposes or some events I might wear these babies at.

Each Lip paints cost Php 250.00 roughly around $ 5.00 each, and currently they're on sale so it's already a fair price. According to L.A girls website these lip paints are called the Glazed Lip Paint  because they give the intensely pigmented appearance of a lipstick, with the ease and glossy finish of a lipgloss.Glazed Collection includes 18 of the most sought-after, trendsetting colors this season while providing long lasting, hyper glossy, ultra rich color to lips.

This proven iconic product offers shades that range from nudes to brights to deep berries. Cool and nourish your lips with the added benefits of vitamin E andpeppermint oil. The Glazed Lip Collection is an instant must-have that accurately portrays the color trends expected to be seen on the runway. A precision tip applicator is provided to facilitate application.

-Provides the shine of a lip gloss.
-Gives the intensely pigmented appearance of a liquid lipstick

For the packaging each lip paints comes in a pretty standard lip tubes with their specific color which are already shown on their tubes. Plus what gets me interested the most is that each tubes has that classy gold lip which I think is stunning.

I got four (4) shades which are :
(Top - bottom)

• Blushing
• Daring
• Pin-up
• Fiesty

Each tube are securely packed tight with sealed plastics which is understood that each products are NEW.

The lip paints that I mentioned earlier comes in a gloss standard tubes with a tip

that's for application use, but I prefer using a lip brush or a precision real techniques brush because as described that they're liquid lipstick pigmented hyper gloss/y form, which is crucial for myself to apply with the tip that comes with itself because I may smudge the color all over my lips and that's not gonna come up pretty nice at all. So for myself I'll prefer to use a precision brush to have more control of the product plus I just don't want to slather the whole color all over my lips. 

What's also cool about these lip paints are their lid because it's not just any ordinary lid that just locks the tube like any tubes normally comes with, this on the other hand inside the lid itself has a pointy thing/y that I believe serves as a "Lock" to the tip of the lip paints that will prevent the color from coming out of the tube and won't run all over the lid. 

Now for each SWATCH: 

So after every swatch on the back of my hand, I tried wiping off each color with just one wipe with a facial wipe and sadly it just wore off easily but it did a bit stained on the back of my hand. 

ACTUAL LIP PAINTS ON MY LIPS:

NOTE: I just kept building the opacity of each color to my own liking because not only are the lip paint's smoothing on my lips, I just love how each color super intense color turn out so pretty amazing on my lips. To apply each lip paint's I just used my real technique precision brush form more control of each color that I just use for my lips.

• Blushing - comes in a mauve/y blue undertone color that's perfect for a natural everyday color to use.
• Fiesty - is a deep vibrant fire/y orange color that's perfect for a summer/y festive season because of its fire/y color.
• Pin-up - Is that classic red bold semi bright red that reminds me of vintage 80's classic Pin-up girl look, so I bet they called this Pin-up because of it's semi bright red color.
• Daring - was the right color of choice that I got because it's that deep dark purple/y color that's perfect for fall season.

For my final verdict:

PROS:

1. For the packaging it's pretty PRO looking for a affordable intense lip paint.
2. Each tube has their own specific shade name
3. The consistency is very very intensely pigmented
4. It doesn't have any bothering smell at all, but it has that mint/y peppermint scent that also gives my lips that smooth cooling feeling
5. I recommend this for dry lips since each color didn't give my lips that cracking effect, and turned out it's super moisturizing on my dry lips. 
6. Each color is just absolutely amazing, very beautiful on camera & off camera
7. Great for any look you wanna achieve to top and finish off
8. Lots of variety of shades to choose :)
9. Even if I kept on rubbing my lips together the color is still there, doesn't move any wear
10. Happy to have discovered that not only the lip paints acts as a gloss, but also has that intense soft to daring colors which I LOVE ABOUT IT ^_^

CONS:

1. You just need to use a tiny brush or a lip brush to have more control, instead of just slathering the entire product on the lips.
2. It does not last all day depending if your in your regular day eating a lot or drinking, it will eventually fade a lot and just transfer.
3. It smears a bit while I was applying this on my lips so be very carefully on applying this, a little goes a long way.
4. It's a bit sticky, it's best that you get your hair out from your face.

Other than that I love how these Glazed Lip Paints gave my satisfaction for around 8 out of 10. I Just love how the lip paints work for myself pretty amazing.

Crystal contact lens : contactlensph | REVIEW & DEMO

Happy April! and OMG it's already the month of April and months has gone by super fast but anyways here I am for all of you my amazing readers out there giving you another review plus a live demo. ^_^

Let's start! I know some of you has tones of contact lenses that we personally use them for eyes to give a little cutesy for ourselves or for our everyday use with graded lens. I was on instagram lately and just you know browsing here and there and searched for contact lenses in the philippines and I came across to contactlensph instagram account and they just had affordable prizes for contact lenses for Philippines residents! :) You can also find them on facebook at https://www.facebook.com/theglamfairyph

As I was saying I just couldn't resist but to get me two contact lenses because they are affordable and they have free shipping free nation wide (Philippines residents only). 

They have tones and all kinds of contact lenses from crystal , pearl series, aquamarine series, greta series, Iolite series and many more! I purchased two contact lens and they came in this pretty barbie pink mini eco friendly bag plus each contact lens has a free eye solution and lens case as well.  

They packed the lenses in a secured bubble wrap to prevent them from breaking while they are being shipped which I think is amazing because once I got them they were intact.

Oh by the way I got the crystal series and they each have guidelines on how to properly care and use for the lenses.

Before any thing else NOTE: Make sure to consult your eye doctor to know the grade/plano of your eyes as well as if your eyes are suited for contact lens use.

I for myself have been using contact lenses for the last two years but for some First timers who wants to try using contact lenses I have read this on a website for a little pre cautions before using contact lenses plus this is also for the safety for your eyes.

Handling Precautions:

• DO NOT use if the sterile blister package is opened or damaged.
• Before leaving your Master Eye Associates' office, you should be able to quickly remove your lenses or you should have someone else available who can remove the lenses for you. If you do not feel that you are qualified to remove your lenses promptly, do not wear them until you can.
• Always wash and rinse your hands before handling your lenses. Do not get cosmetics, lotions, soaps, creams, deodorants or sprays in your eyes or on your lenses. It is best to put on your lenses before putting on makeup. Water-based cosmetics are less likely to damage lenses than oil-based products.
• DO NOT touch your contact lenses with your fingers or hands if they are not completely clean, because tiny lens scratches may occur, causing unclear vision and/or injury to your eye.
• Carefully follow the handling, insertion, removal and wearing instructions as advised and those prescribed by Master Eye Associates.
• Always handle lenses carefully and avoid dropping them.
• Never use tweezers or other tools to remove your lenses from the lens container unless specifically indicated for that use. Pour the lens and the packing solution into the hand.
• Do not touch the lens with your fingernails.

Lens Wearing Precautions:

• You should remove your lenses immediately if your eyes become red or irritated.
• Never wear your lenses beyond the amount of time recommended by your Master Eye Doctor.
• If aerosol (spray) products, such as hair spray, are used while wearing lenses, exercise caution and keep your eyes closed until the spray has settled.
• Avoid all harmful or irritating vapors and fumes while wearing your contacts.
• Exposing contact lenses to water during swimming or while in a hot tub may increase the risk of eye infection from germs. You are advised to remove your soft lenses prior to swimming or while in a hot tub.
• Always throw away lenses worn as prescribed by our Doctors of Optometry.

Pros: 
- Starting off with the package the lens came in, I like how they pack these lenses safely and securely with each bubble wraps for courier purposes which is great. And I love that they came in a barbie pink mini echo bag, so echo friendly indeed ^_^
- Plus each lens has each guidelines to properly use and take care for your contact lens.
- If you have any Inquiries about each lens you can ask contactlensph and they can get back to you because they reply to each inquiries you can ask.
- Also included are free two contact lens cases and two each 40ml bottle solutions worth it for my money because it's also free shipping across the Philippines. 
- Now for wearing each lens, at first it's pretty normal to have that kind of cloudy blur feeling but once my eyes got to adjust to the lens, each lens didn't irritate my eyes at all nor itchy.
- I love how each color turned out for my eyes because it enhances my eyes.

Cons:
- N - O - N - E ^_^ 

To end my review, I love how each contact lens turned out for myself because it did not irritate my eyes the whole day I was using it especially the aquamarine in bluish green. Hope too see you next time again my amazing readers. ^_^
