HAUL & REVIEW | Class A Makeup Brushes

When it comes to makeup you'll need tools to work with and achieve a flawless clean look. Brushes are my most favorite part when it comes to makeup because these are the tools helping you out achieve any look you are going for. For some professional artists some prefer high quality brushes but for some prefer even though not that high end expensive brush, but what works best, the outcome is still the same. I got these pretty amazing yet affordable Singapore class A brushes.

I purchased these brushes from a online shop on instagram called sissyshoppe, they have a lot of products singapore made Class A, high end replica's but they're safe & hypoallergenic to use. These are the real techniques brushes a replica Class A's. All brushes came in each specific boxes with each specific names like the original ones.
PRODUCT INFO:
BRAND NAME: Real Techniques
MADE IN/OUT OF: Singapore class A's
NAMES OF EACH BRUSH/SET:
(TOP Pink's)
- Stippling Brush
- SculptingBrush
(LEFT Golden Yellow's)
-Expert face brush
-Powder brush
(Purple Set)
- Starter set
HOW MUCH?
- Stippling Brush : Php 250.00
- SculptingBrush : Php 250.00
-Expert face brush : Php 250.00
-Powder brush : Php 300.00
- Starter set : Php 600.00
WHERE DID YOU BUY THE BRUSHES?
On the back of each box has the same as the real technique's photos of the ones created the real technique brushes were Miss Sam & Nic:
Starting off with the face brushes, each brush has imprinted brand names of the real technique. The base is actually matte - soft made which I like because it's soft touching.
For the weight it's lighter than I expected.
Each brush has specific names also imprinted on the other sides of the handles:
(Top - Bottom)
Powder Brush, Expert/face brush, Sculpting brush and the Stippling brush.
Though it's Singapore class A's replica's the bristles are properly made in-tacked  in their ferrule.
For the bristles they're super soft, the hairs don't fall out.
Next I also purchased they're Real techniques starter set:
I like the fact that they look super pretty made nice in person, because it's made out of high material quality.
I did a little comparison for the brush case itself, on the left side you can see that the original's case texture on the front is not too shiny kind of soft matte looking while on the right side which is the class A case one, the texture of the case is a bit shinny looking.
But both cases has the same material of the brands tags below on the left corners, thick plastic made.
On the other side of the cases there's also a huge difference because the original one is more puffy pillow/y type and silky looking while on the class A case its' flat matte made.
From the overview of the brushes they're just the same as the original ones which is lovely. Each also has they're specific names which I forgot to take pictures of it (SORRY!) but they do have their names on the back portion.
For the bristles they are properly again made in-tacked well, as well as the base is matte smooth made. No hairs fell out of each brushes.

For my final Verdict:
- I like that each brush came in their specific boxes
- They're AFFORDABLE for high quality class A brushes
- Each bristles of the brushes are super super soft and well in-tacked in each ferrules
-Each base has that matte - soft texture
- It's light weight to carry on you hands

CONS:
NONE!

Overall I for my opinion it's not the price nor branded name of the brush, it's how you work with it and how comfortable your'e working with the brush.
It's every artist skill to have a unique skill to work with what ever brush you have.

Till next time as always Take care & "simply love life always"

Oh by the way if you should know that Manga is a "Japanese" word for "Kawaii" or in beauty meaning a style of "cuteness". Okay that was pretty much long about the whole product info moving on, the mascara comes in a black standard mascara container with a girly/ish barbie/ish metallic pink cap. Which I love how L'OREAL designed this type of mascara because from the outer face it did caught my eye already.  On the other side of the mascara container has a indication which says :
"FLASE LASHES 360° BIG OPEN EYES EFFECT"
The mascara is professionally sealed and made with its ingredients on the plastic thing that wraps the mascara but I'd prefer it printed on the mascara container itself.

For the mascara wand, you can see how the fiber of combs are tiny detailed enough to go through the eyelash hairs, also it has that curved shape to fit right on your eyes for application process.
Now for comparison...
Oh hence by the way my natural eyelashes are straight and short, so here I just got a eyelash perm/curl treatment so it's 1 week curled already still my lashes were short, and at first I was like excited about the outcome but I felt a little weird feeling that my lashes were curled and that I could see it from my sight but I'm getting the hand of it.
On the left side of my face I applied 1 - 2 coats of the mascara and already saw the effects what I was expecting was that cute manga doll eyed lashes. While on the right side of my face is my barely there short lashes:
Next I wanted to give more lift and volume to my lashes and added 3 - 4 coats and again the mascara does it's magic, it's like it's implanting mini hairs on my short lashes because it's more fuller looking.
Forgot to mention is that I love how the wand fits just right while I was applying the mascara, it does't poke my eyeballs and the fiber hairs of the wand wasn't sharp it was more of a softer side so it was much easier for me applying the mascara on my lashes.

Okay I have a confession to make, I went a little crazy so I applied a lot of the mascara on my lashes and tadaaaaaaaaaa!!!  The results were just NO WORDS TO SAY (hahaha!) because I got fuller cute doll eyed lashes that I've always wanted to have.
Even from the front straight view my lashes are looking pretty enough for me :)
I didn't apply any mascara on my bottom lashes because it was a hot day outside and I didn't want to ruin my eyes because I do rub my eyes often of itching.
Just by looking up my lashes are more fuller looking yey!!! ^_^
Even from looking at the side view, the mascara was so amazing working for my lashes:

Now it comes to my final verdict, here goes...

PROS:
- For the mascara's container in general I like how it was made because I love pink combined with black, because it's more on the girly side and best of all PRO looking too!
- For the wand I like the fact that it's bristles/hairs were on the softer side because it's gentle on my sensitive eyes and combs through my short lash hairs evenly.
- Has no strange smell
- For the consistency it's not watery, neither thick
- It's waterproof! perfect for the rainy days, and won't spoil your pretty dolly eyes
- Even though the mascara doesn't say it's voluminizing, it did gave my boring lashes volume, though from my lash curl perm.
- It's true, it is made for asians like myself for that short barely lashes. :)
-I also noticed that it did open up my eyes as what the indication on L'oreal's site said.
- Gave me more curl on my lashes
-Smudge proof

CONS:
- Difficult to remove, so it's best to set your makeup remover sit for a little while to remove the product totally
- Dries up super fast , so work quickly with the mascara
Overall , I love how the mascara reached my satisfaction. I love it period! haha!
Would you recommend this to a friend? Yes! Totally yes!! So for my co pinay out there "Try niyo ito sa mga may problema sa maikli na pilik mata, the best itong mascara na ito PROMISE! :) hehehe!"

Hope you enjoyed reading my review and as always
Till next time as always Take care & "simply love life always"

-Step-by step guide

WHAT IT IS FORMULATED WITHOUT:
(Got this from Sephora's website)
- Parabens
- Sulfates
- Phthalates

The palette comes in a sleek black rock/ish style which I like because it's just pro looking. On the front has Kat Von D's name highlighted with a silver imprinted on the cover of the box, plus name of the palette which she named Shade + Light, and I like how she created the palette with a tribal rock font name of the palette, it only shows how a unique tattoo artist she is.
At the back of the box has the names of three (3) highlights shades which are Lucid, Lyric, Levitation and also there are three (3) contour shades which are Sombre, Shadowplay and subconscious.
I noticed when I opened the box there were imprinted silver stars which I believe that it's Kat Von D's signature because she obviously has a tattooed star on the left or right side on her upper cheek bones, so I think it's her own way of signature to the palette she created.
I mentioned above that the palette comes with a step-by-step guide, and on the guide card has Kat Von D's own created sketch of her own to guide you through creating dimension on your face.It also includes what are the highlight from the contour shades to use, and the card says that you can also use Kat Von D's  shade + light brush but it is sold separately, which I don't mind because I can still use any brush that's great for this palette.
I like the fact that at the back has her step-by-step guides to enhance the features on your face which is HOW-TO contour the correct way like defining the cheekbones, Slimming effect of the face, and shaping the nose, because she's a professional tattoo artist and knows how to give your face dimension for that smooth natural contour.
The palette itself is just the same with it's name on top of the cover and same thing goes for the back part which are the shades of the highlighters and contours.
HERE'S HOW THE PALETTE LOOKS LIKE INSIDE :
The palette comes with a mirror which is I love how uniquely its made with that whole rock/ish theme to it, and on the bottom are the highlighters and contours.
Each pan are properly sealed in the palette so these are not removable at all.
I didn't hesitate to swatch the highlighters because I was too excited to use this and eventually got carried away as usual (hehe!!), and I noticed that each are super super pigmented, with just one swipe of my fingers, the shades are bold, not chalky, neither any glitter/y in each highlight, and no fall outs at all.
It's SWATCH TIME!
Starting from the left side which are the contour shades are:
Subconscious, Shadowplay, Sombre
The highlight are the ones on the right which are:
Levitation, Lyric, Lucid
For each shades for the contour and highlights here are some of my opinions how I describe each shades:
CONTOUR SHADES:
Subconscious: Has that grey tone that's perfect for the deep contour for your hallows because it gives that nice cast shadow to deepening up your structures.

Shadowplay:  Comes in with that soft warm sandy brown undertone to warm up your hallows a bit and this is perfect for giving you that warmth on your face.

Sombre: It's that dark earth/y brown color, if you wanna deep out more your structures you can either us this as well.

HIGHLIGHT SHADES:
Levitation: Has that soft rich peach tone satin finish, the color payoff is a bit sheer, but so sorry if my camera did not give that specific color to it but in real life the shade is a bit pale sheer.

Lyric: For lyric, it has that yellow light-medium tone with a satin-matte finish, super soft and it's a bit powder/y finish, that I'd go for highlighting, because my complexion is light medium and I can compare this to the Ben nye luxury banana  powder because it can definitely brighten up my highlight points like under my eyes.

Lucid: It's that pinkish nude color with a little yellow undertone to it. Has a matte finish , soft to silky finish that can set on your face.

FINAL VERDICT:

- I like how the palette comes in a PRO looking palette with Kat Von D's unique way signature look to it.

- I love how the palette comes in with it's uniquely neutral, warm and cool tones that great for contouring and highlighting  your features.  It's great for any looks I wanna achieve but a little tip is that using each color with minimum amount because a little goes a long way since each shades are super pigmented.

- I also like how each shades has silky, soft textures and also satin to matte finish.

- It's a bit price/y comparing this to other contour palettes but it's your own choice whatever suits you, so I for myself wanted to get myself this palette  and get creative with this palette in the future.

- Also I agree to Kat Von D's tip is that "The key to artistry shading is to BLEND!, BLEND!, BLEND!"

None other than that I love my new Kat Von D Shade + Light Palette  ^_^
as always Till next time as always Take care & "simply love life always"
